31 Nights is a movement created by Michael Bell based on a choice-based, guided series of drawing and photography challenges as prompts that will literally change the way you engage in the art-making process over the course of 31 Nights. Version 1 is inspired by Pulitzer prize-winning photographer David Leeson's 31 in 24 project. Leeson is, a longtime friend of Bell's.
So, if you're looking to find your unique voice and signature style in drawing, painting or photography - 31 Nights is the answer.
"Students and artists alike always ask me – how do I find my style?
Well, it’s not that you don’t have one, it’s just that you haven’t
produced enough work to recognize the sea you’re swimming in. 31 Nightswill provide you with the perfect amount of work in a short spark of time that it will help you identify your style. It also inspires creativity and measures growth visibly over time!
The great news is, it’s also becoming a widespread global movement, since I’ve presented this at various keynotes, K-12 Art Chats and workshops across the country. Simply use the hashtag #31nights to see the amazing work going on globally!
This is a movement trending nationwide, and is something I first introduced at my first TED talk in New Jersey. For more visit mbellart.com
