Mark Garvey is an artist that makes music, films and multimedia messes. Mark is the very definition of DIY: a one-man band/army creating everything entirely solo in a shed. Mark’s works range from trying to bring down the system by screaming about the world’s injustices, to philosophically reflecting on the existential tragedy of contemporary life while sipping on an overpriced oat milk latte ... and everything else in between. Mark is a prolific monomaniac with an unconventional against-the-grain ethos. All Mark’s songs are not just for your ears, as each is accompanied by videos and a tonne of artwork to expand the music beyond your headphones and into a much wider and infinitely more interesting universe for you to explore. Independent, experimental, lo-fi, 90s style, authentic, and so deep underground that you’ll never read this, Mark makes his work his way, without consideration of – or giving a fuck about – anyone or anything else.
