"the woods are watching" is a new work by luke kurtis. Part of his "Crayon Portraiture" project, which he debuted earlier this year in the journal Palaver with his essay "Polishing The Gilt Easel," this new site-specific installation represents new territory for the artist. "the woods" draws from past projects such as "Jordan's Journey" and "INTERSECTION" but also forges ahead into more conceptual territory.
