LoneStar Tone

Lone Star Tone. Unique boutique built amps and guitars. Providing a feel and sound that are firm and substantial, like a good handshake. You know you've got a hold of something because you can feel it. Lone Star Tone is about innovation, making things better. Creating improvements you can feel and hear.

Frank, of Lone Star Tone, has been repairing stringed instruments and electronics for a couple of decades. Building came after years of observation and calculations to get instruments and electronics to sound "just right". Changing things needs to result in making things easier and/or better. "Tradition" tends to get in the way of innovation and is best left to the "Holidays". There are not too many rules, but one big rule is: "Simple is elegant."

It's all about the "tone".
