Atlanta Entreprenuers Launch Indiegogo Campaign to “Spread the Love. Stop the hate. The social mobile app empowers girls to make a difference in a supportive social network. Mobile apps that exist for young girls and teens aren’t offering a supportive environment, one that encourages girls to champion one another. Liv2BGirl is an app with a social influence beyond the technology.

As moms, we’ve seen first hand how social media affects our daughter’s self-esteem, self-worth and perception of the world around them. Based on the success of the beta website, the founders developed a prototype to the move the site’s most successful features into a mobile app. The social network will offer a positive place for girls to share and connect, including virtual hangouts with mentors, groups to discuss interests and issue, spotlights on encouraging stories and rewards for “spreading the love and stopping the hate."
