The first Conversations of Nepal, a talk event by the King's College London (KCL) Nepalese Society was held on Tuesday 9th of February at the Guy's Campus, KCL in London Bridge. The evening featured four young speakers; Shreya Paudel on Nepali Constitution and Politics, Dristy Gurung on Mental Health in Nepal, Poonam Rai on Post-earthquake relief work and Lex Limbu on 'One Year in Nepal'.
As Nepalese youths in the UK we are unaware of the mounting opportunities in Nepal nor are we much aware of the governing of our homeland. These talks have been established to give you more insight on into the workings of Nepal including the topic of the aftermath of the devastating earthquake last year. We have invited 4 young adults as speakers to cover these topics. Whilst it's common to have noted/well-established figures in such talks, we wanted to bring young people who students could relate to and encourage a two-way dialogue. The talks will be brief followed by a Q&A.
Videos of the other speakers will be online soon.
PS. The middle part of the presentation has been cut-off. It focused more on the aspects of travel and how different people are in Nepal. Gutted about it not being here. Hope you still enjoy the rest. https://twitter.com/lexlimbuhttps://instagram.com/lexlimbuhttps://facebook.com/lexlim...https://lexlimbu.com
