Parent Revolution

Parent Revolution, a non-partisan, non-profit organization, was founded in January 2009 to help parents at underperforming schools across the United States transform their schools through community organizing.

Parent Revolution empowers parents by teaching them cutting-edge techniques around community organizing and creating Parents' Union chapters, while advocating for kids-first reforms that will dramatically improve educational opportunities for their children.

Parent Revolution created the concept of the "Parent Trigger" law, and was instrumental in passing it in California in 2010, the first state in the nation to do so.
