Contractor Kevin

Honest advice before you hire or spend.
I'm Kevin, a contractor with 34 years of experience in roofing, siding, windows, doors and decks. I run the family business my dad started, which turns 60 next year. I've grown it from two of us to a team of more than 40, and I've made plenty of expensive mistakes along the way so you don't have to.
On this channel I help homeowners:
• Choose and vet a contractor
• Read a quote and spot red flags
• Understand roofing, siding, window and deck materials and warranties
• Protect their home from problems like ice dams
• Avoid paying twice for the same project
You may have seen me on NBC Chicago talking about roof ice dams, or in the rotary phone video covered by Fox 32, WGN and Fox 10.
