This year, It Gets Better worked to positively impact the lives of LGBTQ+ young people in new and exciting ways.
Inspiring stories, uplifting events, international affiliates and brand partnerships helped the project leave a rainbow colored stamp on the world for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youth.

We’re thrilled to share "It Got Better," an online docuseries in collaboration with Dan Bucatinsky, Lisa Kudrow and L/Studio. The series features notable LGBT figures sharing their personal stories of struggle and success.
After 51,138 miles, 342 days and 55 interviews, lesbian couple Jennifer Chang and Lisa Dazols created a hopeful and touching look at LGBT life around the world in their film “Out & Around.” The documentary partnership with the It Gets Better Project follows Jennifer and Lisa on a year-long trip interviewing LGBT global leaders from more than a dozen countries. “Out & Around” had its television premiere on Logo on Monday, August 17, 2015.
These videos come from contributors to our book, "It Gets Better: Coming Out, Overcoming Bullying, and Creating a Life Worth Living," a collection of original essays and testimonials written to teens from celebrities, political leaders, and everyday people. It was published in March 2011 and is edited by Dan Savage and Terry Miller.
