eLearning Course in Scientific Writing & Reference Management

eSWaRW will introduce participants to the different types of scientific articles and provide an outline of how to write an original research article describing their original scientific research.
To enable health professionals to write scientific research articles that can be published and to equip them with skills to cite and manage references/ bibliography while writing using a reference management tool such as Mendeley.
The course will also enable an understanding of the importance to cite other scientific literature while reporting research work and will equip them with skills to cite literature appropriately. Participant will learn about reference management software tools that are commonly used to read, manage and create bibliographies.
The course aims to introduce the participants to the Indian public health system including the current national health programmes. It further aims at teaching essential management skills required to be a good public health manager. The concepts covered in this course are divided into two levels- basic and advanced; the participants have the choice to complete the level they want and will be awarded a certificate accordingly. The ePHM course is a tutor guided online course and the medium of instruction is English.
The EPHP conferences provide a unique platform for Indian public health researchers, policymakers and practitioners to meet, share their experiences and learn from each other For over half a decade now, the EPHP conferences provide a unique platform where Indian public health researchers, policymakers and practitioners meet, learn from each other and shape the future. In the past, we have hosted two EPHP conferences. In 2010, the first conference’s theme was Five years of NRHM where public health researchers from various backgrounds and experiences met and discussed about different areas in NRHM. Two years later, in 2012, the second EPHP conference theme was Strengthening health systems to achieve universal health coverage that helped bring out interesting discussions about universal health coverage and what is India’s take on it. In 2016, we are hosting the third conference with the following objectives in mind.
