The Defeationist

Welcome to The Defeationist!

Here, we dive deep into the world of gaming—reviewing, analyzing, and sometimes suffering through games to bring you in-depth critiques, retrospectives, and completionist-style breakdowns. Inspired by legends like The Completionist, SomeCallMeJohnny, Aqualung Game Reviews, and EventStatus, we take a passionate yet honest approach to gaming, celebrating the highs and calling out the lows.

Yes, we know The Completionist messed up, and while that’s disappointing, we can’t deny the impact his work had on shaping how we view and discuss games. Our goal is to carry that spirit forward with integrity, offering insightful reviews, humor, and a genuine love for gaming—without the baggage.

So, whether you're here for deep dives, nostalgia trips, or just a brutally honest take on your favorite (or least favorite) games, welcome to The Defeationist! Let’s explore gaming’s best and worst—together.
