In the 2016 rankings released today, HPU ranks:#1 Best Regional College in the South for the fourth consecutive year. The university received a perfect overall score of 100 in the ranking. #1 Most Innovative Regional College in the South. This is the first year that U.S. News & World Report asked top academics, including presidents, provosts and admissions deans, to rank the schools that are making the most innovative improvements in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology or facilities. “We appreciate being included in these national rankings, which reflect our constant enhancement of the HPU educational experience,” says Dr. Nido Qubein, HPU president. “Families find great value in High Point University. HPU has undergone a decade of transformation that has spread to every corner of campus – academics, technology, facilities and more – which led to tripling undergraduate enrollment, more than doubling faculty, and a campus that has more than quadrupled in size. HPU will continue the transformation as it breaks ground on a complex to house the School of Health Sciences and the School of Pharmacy.
