The 2019 Hidden Hearing TV advert, ‘Life is Worth Hearing’, is part of a larger marketing campaign to promote better hearing and reduce the stigma surrounding hearing loss in Ireland. Hearing can be damaged by prolonged exposure to noisy environments and by infections, although, most commonly, it simply deteriorates with age.
The new TV adverts feature Hidden Hearing brand ambassadors who reflect on what makes life worth hearing for them – from the sound of the birds to nuggets of love shared with family and friends, they emphasise the importance of hearing health. People from all walks of life, of all ages, suffer from hearing problems in Ireland and this is what Hidden Hearing hope to portray in their new television ad. The television ads were produced in collaboration with Rocket Productions and Credence and will introduce us to Hidden Hearing advocates from Hidden Hearing’s 82 state-of-the-art hearing centres.
In the first commercial, we meet Mary and Stephen O’Neill who talk about the impact that hearing loss has had on their family life. The married couple are happy to share their life-transforming experiences in the hope that they will encourage other people, who have hearing issues at any level, to seek help.
