How do you affect behavior change a the individual, community and country-level? This animated video defines Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) and outlines how to begin to devise an SBCC program. SBCC has been applied to behavior change in the areas of HIV, malaria, family planning, Ebola and child survival.
The Roll Back Malaria (RBM) Communication Community of Practice (CCoP) task force is a group of communication-oriented partners, national malaria control managers, and members of the RBM Partnership Secretariat. The task force's Objectives are to:
1. Provide countries and partners with guidance and necessary tools for the implementation of the Global Strategic Framework. 2. Advocate for the development and implementation of evidence-based country-level communication strategies. 3. Facilitate and coordinate the provision of technical assistance to countries and partners as needed to improve the quality and capacity to implement result-driven malaria communication programs. 4. Advocate for more financial resources to implement malaria communication interventions. 5. Develop and maintain a Community of Practice for sharing experiences and advancing the state of the art in communication for malaria control prevention. 6. Prioritize and direct and research agenda as detailed in the Global Strategic Framework.
