Harmony Public Schools is proud to have achieved a perfect passing score for all 54 of its campuses on the 2017-2018 State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exam.
For 2017-2018, five Harmony campuses received distinctions in all seven categories measured by STAAR testing. Six of Harmony Public Schools Districts earned an “A” rating including every Houston campus. This is significant because many students missed school due to Hurricane Harvey.
Four of Harmony’s seven districts were also awarded a distinction for postsecondary readiness, out of 829 districts statewide. The postsecondary readiness distinction – the only distinction at the district level under the state accountability system – takes into account factors such as graduation rates, ACT/SAT participation and performance, Career and Technical Education (CTE) graduates, and dual- credit course completion rates.
