Genesee Valley Equine (GVEC)

The friendly staff of Genesee Valley Equine Clinic, LLC is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care for horses in Western New York. Our veterinarians give on site service to horse farms located in the five county area surrounding the city of Rochester, New York. Many horses from local and outlying areas are shipped in to our clinic for diagnostic examinations, elective surgery and artificial insemination. Our team of veterinarians and support staff takes pride in treating every patient as an individual.
Services include preventative medicine and wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, reproduction and neonatal care, lameness evaluations, diagnostic imaging, prepurchase examinations, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Our staff provides 24 hour emergency service.
Education is a priority for everyone at GVEC: each year we train veterinary and pre-veterinary students in field service, and offer a host of seminars for our horse-loving community.
