Mangano launches its new Fall/Winter 2014 advertising campaign, shot in studio by Maurizio Montani, photographer and long-time collaborator of the company. Shadows and reflections, playing off the metals, highlight the beauty of Charlie Austin and Sidney Mello, the provocative protagonists chosen for this campaign by Diana Mangano, the brand’s Creative Director.
In a post-industrial setting, lacking of any affectation, fire is at the core of the Fall/Winter collection, crystallizing the passion and energy that define Mangano’s style.
To underline the wild nature of the campaign, a stylized cheetah roams near the fire in some shots, reminding of the models’ feline gaze. Brass furniture with a romantic tone contrasts the campaign’s natural elements.
The result is a sensual setting, where a man and a woman move, hunt for each other, and eventually touch lightly, in an encounter of beauty, strength, and naturalness.
