G.Helga Ingadóttir

I am a singer and a ceramic artist in Hvolsvöllur which is in the south part of Iceland. I'm working with my husband who is a Master in Pottery and his name is Thor (Þór) Sveinsson. He has been doing pottery sins 1971 and has a very elegant stile. We are doing our pottery under the name Eldstó Art Design.
The videos display Thor, my husband to be hand throwing pottery, we use volcanic glazes witch we make our self to glaze the thing we make. Those Espresso cups you see on the picture are his design.
Then there are the videos I made, where you can here me sing the songs I love. Some are very old recordings, from the years 1982 - 1987, but I am working on new recordings now in 2014, recording the songs that I've always wanted to sing. I will also work on new videos with my husband.

I studied classical singing at the Singing School in Reykjavík, Iceland from the years 1980 - 1992, intermittently. However I do sing more of folk singing, jazz and bluses than classical singing to day.
