On the 9th Sunday of Matthew St. Paul tells the Corinthians that dealing with the reality of our confrontation with the "fire" of God's Love will reveal who we really are. This "fire" is burning now. Christ kindled this "fire" in His coming and now the "fire" of God's love is purifying the unique gifts we each possess IF we embrace this love now. But if we wait till we're dead to embrace this love, we will find that our lives are filled with flammable wood, hay, and stubble. So, Who are you? What are you made of? Where are you going?
