These videos illustrate how Scottish Gaelic language and music were used in the Disney-Pixar animated film "Brave." I have published an article about this in the Spring 2013 issue of Celtic Life International magazine -- check it out! http://www.celticlifeintl.com/ For more discussion of Gaelic in "Brave", please see my blog at www.emilymcfujita.com.
Dr. Emily McEwan-Fujita plays a game of Language Hunting or Lorg na h-Abairt in spring 2012 with Halifax-area university students. These students had no prior experience of learning Scottish Gaelic -- see how quickly they began to pick it up with the aid of ASL signs and other signs as a "bridge." Language hunting is a language learning game using accelerated learning techniques. More information can be found at: http://www.languagehunters.org/
