Dying Behind Bars

Dying Behind is a thrash metal outfit from Prague in Czech Republic who have become an established part of the metal scene since 2009. In summer of 2009, after a fateful meeting of founder members, and after a series of departures, returns and exchanges, the initial 5-piece band was trimmed down to three. A two-year search for a reliable and motivated second guitarist met with no success, and so the band decided to remain as a 3-piece for the time being and started work on their debut album. 2012 saw the release of a demo, appropriately titled “Demo 2012” as a working title. This was not released due to poor sound quality. The search for a second guitarist continued but by early 2013 there had been no progress on this front and so the band closed themselves up in the Davos studio to start recording 13 existing songs mostly composed during the period 2009 – 2011. All the songs are available for free download or on CDs distributed by the band at gigs. Newer material has been incorporated
