I lived in Texas as a kid growing up in a Huge City called Houston.Right out of High School I went to Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and Austria at the age of 18. I went with my dad and X-step mother. I saved up my money Working at Jack in the Box while in school all year so I could pay my own way. We were in Europe for 1 month. My Uncle was a Lt Colonel in the US Army stationed with NATO ( UnitedNations)
Holland/Netherlands at that time.
He picked us up when we arrived iand took us around to all of the tourist hot spots. We stayed in Bed and Breakfast
homes and went to all of the coolest sites, castles. One Month was not enough time to see everything but my uncle knew the area and we saved lots of time and money.
This is a neat thing! It was in June 1989 is when we went on this trip that I told you about. Soon after we got back home in Houston Texas, about a month a later on the news there was head lines about the Berlin Wall being torn down!!
