Don Whitcher

I am a Slide Guitar, Lap Steel Guitar and lead guitar Singer Songwriter.  I describe my music as "Grit Folk Swampabilly Americana Blues". I was signed to Frying Pan Records in 1998 playing mostly greasy pork chop original Blues. In 2004 I was signed to 95 North Records and charted in the top ten of the Americana and roots country charts with my band the Slant 6 Cowboys playing my original Alt. Country Americana songs. I perform under my own name Don Whitcher solo and with my band 'Devil Don Witcher And The Hellcats'.
