German with LinguaThor — David Allen Martin II

German demystified 🇺🇸🇩🇪 — from A1 to C2+.

I’m David Allen Martin II, a Californian German teacher who’s lived in Germany for 21 years. On this channel, I explain the sounds, structure and everyday expressions that make German work.

Expect real conversations, pronunciation explanations and practical ways to turn German you understand into German you can use. My #ReelGerman videos include German–English subtitles so you can follow the conversation and notice the details.

I studied German at UC Berkeley and Germanic linguistics at Göttingen. I also created Translation³: understand the meaning, see how the sentence is built, then practise producing it yourself.
