At the start of the 1980's, writer, illustrator, recording artist and filmmaker, dj@fomt emerged from the pit of Northern Ireland's troubles. 

Implementing international Mail Art concepts The Universal Living Room and Circular Mail, collaborators included Blaster Ackerman, John M Bennett, Jack Saunders, Andre Stitt, Tentatively A Convenience, Ivan Stang, Pete Horobin, Tony Lowes, David Zack, Nunzio Mifune, Snow White Young,  Rod Summers, and many others. 

Disillusioned when no-one actually GAVE UP ART after the Neoist Art Strike of 1990-93, dj@fomt, a broken man, retreated to a hermetic existence in the bleak Irish hinterland. 

Most FOMT material is lost to the vicissitudes of time and the transience of the Mail Art network (long superseded by the internet). But some FOMT artifacts remain and our intention is to archive them here (irregularly).
