With the lone goal of starting a conversation, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts' Education Division has developed an interactive classroom workshop that uses gender-bending in Shakespeare's plays as an entry into dialogue about gender fluidity in today's society. The workshop was made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts' Shakespeare in American Communities project, in partnership with Arts Midwest. "This has been an incredible collaboration for the NEA Shakespeare in Communities grant," Watrous said.
In this new YouTube series, we briefly introduce you to the actors performing in our plays in a more fun and personal way than ever before. Videos by John Moore. For more information on Denver Center shows, go to www.denvercenter.org
