Kern Pratt earned a star on the Greenville, Mississippi Blues Walk of fame for his life's work as a Mississippi Delta Blues musician. Greenville, MS is known for its blues history and being a performing stop for the legends of the blues.
Jimmi Mayes played and toured with blues legends like Little Walter, Jimmy Reed, Pinetop Perkins, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Robert Junior Lockwood, and more over the course of his career. He backed Marvin Gaye and later became the bandleader for Joey Dee & the Starliters who had a monster hit the “Peppermint Twist” during the time Jimmi was with them. He became good friends with Jimi Hendrix and eventually he was asked to record with Jimmi Hendrix and is on four of Hendrix’s albums.
Jesse "Guitar" Robinson is one of Mississippi's "Living Legends" performing nationally and internationally with his band. During his career he has toured with Little Milton and Bobby Rush. Mickey Rogers started out with Howlin Wolf, was taught to play by Hubert Sumlin, was with Tyrone Davis for many years, was with the Temptations, is noted on the Greenville, Mississippi Blues Walk of Fame, is a Mississippi favorite, has travelled throughout the world playing the blues.
