A demo of the Roland CS-10EM Binaural Microphones and Earphones; mostly on cars and airplanes. I know I said "headphones" and should have said "earphones".
Recorded in a double-system, iPhone & Tascam iXJ2 for audio portion and Canon S110 for video portion. Then audio and video were synced in post. The Canon audio was the scratch track. The Tascam provided plug-in power to the Roland mics.
There are some YouTubers that would use these mics to record videos for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR). As well as recording nature soundscapes for Stereoscopic 3D audio.
When I spoke into the camera:
Camera: Canon S110
Audio: Zoom H5 with Rode NTG-2 [Above my head]
Old Computer: Macintosh Portable
Songs: "Aitech", "Eighties Action", and "Undaunted" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

For an affordable shotgun microphone, I think the Rode NTG-2 is a great shotgun mic, if you can find it second-hand. I payed around $150 on eBay. However, I had to wait quite a few months, until I found one selling at that price. The software Audacity, can easlity remove noise (hiss). Some people prefer the Audio-Technica AT897.
