Pete Um

Hello I'm Pete Um, tho my viewing history and engagement is most likely to do with my  kids. The earliest videos I uploaded on here are me dicking around with a Hi-8 camera back in the late 90s before there was a YouTube. I had the idea that I was creating visual material to complement my shonky musical efforts in a live performance context.  I had a website where you could read my "online diary", haha. Then Myspace came around I was uploading any old goofy shit & networking naively w/ friendly music geeks all over the place. Thanks to Cambridge promoters, notably Bad Timing, I was playing a lot so there's footage of bands performing locally and elsewhere. Eventually social media became quite the thing and I suddenly found self-publishing distasteful & I grew quite old (although I make more music than ever and certainly more than I know what to do with). Before COVID I performed regularly & tbh it's slower now, get in touch : ) I upload music sporadically.
