تأسست ضمان عام 2005، وبدأت عملياتها عام 2006 كأول شركة تأمين صحي متخصصة في الدولة. وفي عام 2025، اعتمدت اسمها القانوني الجديد ليعكس توسعها إلى خدمات تأمين أوسع، بدءاً بتأمين الممتلكات والمسؤوليات، بعد إطلاق صندوق المستحقات ومكافآت نهاية خدمة الموظفين في 2024

The National Insurance Company – Daman, a subsidiary of PureHealth, is a comprehensive multi-line insurer and the UAE’s leading health insurance provider, serving more than 3 million members in the UAE.

Established in 2005, Daman began operations in 2006 as the UAE’s first dedicated health insurer. In 2025, it adopted its new legal name to reflect its expansion into broader insurance offerings, starting with Property and Casualty Insurance, after launching the GEB Trust in 2024
