This demo demonstrates the new CheFEM "Microvoid/Discontinuous Crack Interlayer" function.

This new function enables you to define a void/discontinuous crack (or any other micro space defined by a certain volume and diameter) and enables you to analyse the multicomponent pressure/concentration build-up in such a space as a function of time. This output is key input for rigorous rapid gas decompression analysis, blister formation simulation and insight in corrosive activity for eventual metal substrates.
The function enhances your default FEM software (e.g. Abaqus/Ansys) in two aspects:
 CheFEM's transient interface architecture exceeds the capabilities of default FEM.
 CheFEM's EOS (Equation of States) predicts correct densities/phase transitions (besides the fact that expansion, diffusion, time lag and permeation is correctly predicted at any temperature, pressure and matrix/filler configuration).
