Jazz B-3 organist & pianist David Ellington attended Berklee College of Music in Boston in the early 80's, and then spent the next 22 years in New Orleans immersed in its extraordinary music scene before moving to Atlanta in 2005.

Ellington has worked and recorded with dozens of acts from New Orleans, including 'Chevere', 'Walter Wolfman Washington', and 'The Wild Magnolias'. David created the group 'Chevere'; an afro-cuban jazz project that played the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival every year to rave reviews. David also had the good fortune to study with Ellis Marsalis while attending the University of New Orleans in the mid 90's.

Since moving to Atlanta in 2005, David has been busy focusing on the Hammond organ with the 'David Ellington Organ Trio' and with numerous established Atlanta groups and leaders.
