• CA Fwd: Why we do what we do

    2,737 views 5 years ago

California Forward is a non-partisan and non-profit catalyst for change in California.

We've been talking with Californians for the past few years and they're frustrated...very frustrated. They want government to work better for them but they wonder if that's even possible.

    We believe it is.

Here's what we are doing to make it a reality.

Jobs and the economy is issue number one in California! Californians are worried the middle class is shrinking. We are encouraging reforms that will create more middle-class jobs and improve our state's ability to compete in the global economy.

We are also working to find innovative ways to pay for the infrastructure projects we all need--like fixing our crumbling roads

We are leading the charge to ensure counties take advantage of the opportunity public safety realignment presents. If we can help counties succeed in public safety, we can help make it work for social services and schools.

We are lighting a fire under government by improving California elections--to get more people to register and vote, to simplify the ballot and to shine a light on government so our residents can get the information they need when they need it.

Californians want better and deserve better.

They want good jobs, quality public services and a government that listens to them.

That's why we do this work. Are you ready to help? Show less
