BrooksKJ

KJ Brooks has played in numerous unknown and famous Australian bands. He has now decided to launch a solo/songwriter career.

Started out playing drums as a youngster but felt the frontman and lead guitarist were having way too much fun.

So bought my first guitar and bought the Ernie Ball Beginner Guitar book and learnt how to make a few chord shapes and started learning 12 bar blues songs.

First record was 12 gold bars by Satus Quo, thought I was a major player having learnt there entire list in a caouple of days.

Then I became really adventurous and started listening to early AC/DC and still love listening to them today.

Dont play in bands any more so I bought a digital recording studio and just write and play at home.

There's nothing better than finishing a song putting it down and playing it back for the first time.

If your lucky people may even like your stuff.
