I recently flew to Perth to reunite with a woman with whom I first fell in love 23 years ago. At the first opportunity in Australia, I hit my knees in the front yard under the Southern Cross and held out a ring. She accepted my proposal, as did I hers. Then we went in the kitchen and danced to Jason Isbell singing this gorgeous song - a song which I have lived - from his excruciatingly beautiful album "Southeastern". On a certain sacred level, I've been alone my entire life until now. Thank you, Guenevere. I love you infinitely.
