The Boys' Latin School of Maryland

The Boys' Latin School of Maryland is the oldest independent, nonsectarian college-preparatory school for boys in Maryland. Guided by our school motto, Esse Quam Videri- To be rather than to seem- Boys' Latin expects personal excellence from everyone in our community. Integrity is expected in all that we ask of our students as well as our faculty, parents and faithful alumni of our school. With those expectations in place, boys become men of strong character, develop lasting friendships, know the importance of hard work, and understand what it means to be compassionate.
