Billy.J (Songwriter)

Billy.J - songwriter active on the music scene since 1997. Original lyrics spanning Pop, R&B, Rock, Jazz, Gothic, Latin, World, Ethnic, Contemporary and beyond. Not confined by genre, writing across various styles and languages, always led by the song rather than the category.

Began as a backing vocalist before performing solo and writing his own material, eventually committing fully to songwriting after discovering a deeper sense of fulfilment in hearing other artists interpret his work.

Songs have been recorded by numerous Maltese artists. Submitted songs for Malta Song for Europe, Malta Summer Hit Song and Indifest, as well as international collaborations.

All lyrics and melodies are original and human-authored. Demo productions are AI-assisted, used purely as a production and arrangement tool to showcase each song's potential. Available for collaboration, licensing, recording, purchase by artists, producers and publishers worldwide.
