Mostly iai

Mostly iaido!

I practice ZNKR/MSR iaido since about 2004 until present, 9 times straight Swedish Champion, as well as several international and European championship medals. Beyond iai I have done, Jodo and some Kendo and Naginata. Currently striving to take 5-dan during 2023.

Iaido is the art of drawing the japanese sword katana from the sheet while cutting in one single movement, its traditionally done with sharp steel sword (shinken), while beginners use wood sword or a practice sword with blunt edge.
