About the video:

When I needed an atmospheric and low budget music video to accompany the release of my single 'Winter Heart', it seemed a natural choice to team up with my partner, artist Merlin Porter. We decided to make a stop motion film using Merlin's skills as an artist and my love of story-telling and film.

We borrowed a Nikon DSLR; bought beautifully textured cartridge papers; and built a lightbox for 2D scenes and a mini-studio for 3D scenes. The whole project was completed in a matter of weeks on a budget of under £50.

The plot depicts the epic and magical journeys made by two lovers through forests, underground rivers and icy terrain, before being united under the backdrop of a snow-topped mountain.
