Bankie Banx

Positive vibes and conscious music since 1976. Featuring the music of Caribbean music icon Bankie Banx and the new voice of reggae music Omari Banks.

Since 1976, Bankie Banx has been the progressive voice of music in the Eastern Caribbean. His first album "Roots & Herbs" became the benchmark for songwriting in the region. Bankie is respected by his peers as a premier lyricist, and songwriter. Bankie's music has evolved into its own distinct sound which defies all attempts at genre classification.
Bankie is the founder of the long-running Moonsplash Music Festival on Anguilla, co-founder of the Stingray Music and Arts Education Program, and conservator of The Dune Preserve.

Omari Banks is a former Test Cricketer and a powerful and authentic voice in reggae music. Cat Coore of Third World has said of Omari "(he) is already the new star of the East. Every time I hear Move On I feel moved to tears."
