Ivanna Speranza

Ivanna Speranza, is a lyric coloratura soprano and she was born in Cordoba, Argentina. Aged 20, she traveled to Italy in order to complete her vocal training and there she studied with Arrigo Pola - who was Pavarotti's teacher - and with Mirella Freni.

Her attitude to singing is at once passionate and practic, a thrilling mixture of optimism, single-minded determination and a steadfast commitment to making the best of her considerable talent. Ivanna Speranza embodies a new image of operatic singing, far from the dusty stereotype of the highbrow enterteinment for refined elites, bringing back opera's original essence and intent: the fervent expression of human passions.

Just like the heroines that she plays on stage, Ivanna had to overcome hardships and obstacles in pursuit of her dream. At last, after years of intense studying and an increasingly successful stage career, she hit the goal of her first album. Virtuosity Arias was released in March 2014 by italian label Sfem.
