Pathways to Employment, a series of short films, celebrates seven unique individuals who prove that hiring people with developmental disabilities is "Good for Business, Good for People & Good for the Economy." The films were produced for the The Arc of Indiana by filmmaker Ken Oguss, with support from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.
The Arc of Indiana and Self-Advocates of Indiana have launched a major Employment Campaign to speak directly to employers about the benefits they can gain by employing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The message, hiring people with I/DD is "Good for Business, Good for People, and Good for the Economy. " Ads featuring outstanding employers of people with I/DD will run August 2012 - August2013 on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick on PBS stations throughout Indiana.
