Those two students from Anuban Chumphon Grade 6 performed a very good version of Rolling in the deep - Adele - to the backings of Vasquez Sounds. Students at Anuban Chumphon join a Mini English Program which seems to be much much better than some bilingual schools here in Phuket. I think they have great Thai English Teachers and they have a vision about why English is so important for them. They all have a red Thai Passport as their school promotes every year in Grade 5 a school trip to Singapore!
This playlist will give you some inside of the Anuban Chumphon English Camp 2013 for Grade 4, 5 and 6 at Rung Arun Resort. The most interesting part is that those students were in comparison to most other Thai students able to read, write and speak English properly and they understood and were able to follow discussions in English very good. One main reason for this might be that they have very good Thai English teachers and get also taught in Math Science and Drama in English Language. Another reason might be that all Grade 5 and 6 students of Anuban Chumphon have a red Thai Passport, which enables them to travel freely around the world at any time they like. All Grade 5 students go on a Singapore Trip for several days every year. When you ask those Grade 5 and 6 students where they want to go net they already have a much wider view of the world, than those without a passport.
IMHO those students perform much much better than students we met even from bilingual schools in Phuket. Anuban Chumphon has only a Mini EP program and at Chumphon you will find nearly no foreign tourists. It is just the opposite of Phuket I would say, where you can find a lot of chances to practise English proficiency by talking to foreigners all day long if you like to.
