APAG - American Photography Archives Group

APAG’s mission is to educate its members about the importance of preservation and maintenance of a privately held photography archive.

We offer support and discuss legal information about copyright and intellectual property. We deal with promotion and marketing, and how to work with galleries and auction houses, as well as the new frontier of websites and social media. APAG has meetings three times a year at the International Center of Photography (ICP), maintains a website, and is connected with social media via our APAG facebook page, and with google groups.
