Remember K.A.T.E. Production

Two versions of the same scene. One lands, one doesn't. Working out why is the whole channel.

I take films apart shot by shot. Staging, camera, screen direction, where the cut lands. The decisions made long before a single frame is animated.

I'm Kim. Twenty years in animation and VFX, working in layout and previs, which is the camera and staging end of the job. Those years were spent on films like The Lego Batman Movie, Thunderbolts*, Argylle and Spaceman. This channel isn't those films. It's me using what they taught me to pull other people's work apart, and to make my own.

K.A.T.E. stands for Keep Animating That Entertains. It's an instruction, and it's pointed at you.
