Huawei's latest and greatest packs the fastest processing package Huawei has ever built; the Kirin 970. Inside is a brand new type of processor called a Neural Processing Unit (NPU); one specifically designed with processing artificial intelligence. Huawei uses this AI processor for many tasks on the phone, but mainly to keep cloud processing from being required and to keep privacy at an all time high. EMUI 8.0 is a huge jump in many ways, and it's all running atop Android 8.0 Oreo. There are so many new features too, from the awesome desktop projection mode to the enhanced knuckle gestures, about the only thing that's wildly inconsistent are the Leica-powered dual cameras on the back.
