Anasmita is the disciple of Shri Siben Chakraborty, Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Sri Anol Chatterjee, Smt. Joyti Chakraborty and Sri Goutam Ghosal. 
Musical achievements of Anasmita
• Has playbacked in films like Bye Bye Bankok and Teen Tanaya, various serials like Agniparikha, Potol Kumar Gaanwala, Jhaanj Lobongo Ful, Tobu Mone Rekho, Gopal Bhaar, Rani Rashmoni, Kheerer Putul, theatres and short films.
• Worked with Sri Joy Sarkar, Sri Debojyoti Mishra, Pt. Tejendranarayan Majumdar, Smt. Upali Chatterjee, Sri Prabudhha Banerjee, Mayukh-Mainak and so on.
• Worked as a lyricist of a Hindi number for the Bengali film MICHEAL (released in 2018).
• Composed Hindi singles for other singers.
