You Shall Know—Design History Archive & Discourse

You Shall Know is an independent design research and creative studio based in Canada and managed by designer, writer, and multimedia artist Stephan Rosger.

It asks big questions about design, especially the uncomfortable cultural and social ones, and explores them beyond academia through video essays, multimedia art, writing, and experimentation. Design has some questions it's been avoiding. Stephan asks them out loud.

As AI shakes up design, Stephan challenges conventions, mixes human creativity with emerging technology, and embraces a little FAFO. Less gatekeeping, more curiosity.

Stephan’s also open to collaborations that bring together research, writing, and design. With experience in typography, UI/UX, web design, illustration, and content creation, he brings a researcher’s curiosity and a designer’s eye. He’a especially interested in publishing, book design, and telling overlooked stories through compelling visuals.
