Here is a great opportunity to hunt for that trophy mule deer you have been looking for! Our Rifle mule deer hunt takes place from the last week of October through the end of November. We start by hunting mule deer in pre-rut bachelor groups and continue hunting all stages of the rut.Mule deer have flourished in this foothill region due to fairly mild winter conditions and the presence of a drawing system for resident hunters. With a limited amount of tags issued, this has allowed these bucks to mature to trophy quality giving us an opportunity to be selective in which bucks we harvest.
Our success rate for this hunt is very high. In past seasons we have been 100% on opportunity with bucks taken that average in the high 160's. About 15% of our rifle mule deer hunters will harvest a buck that will gross over 180". For those who can remain patient in their pursuit of a trophy mule deer, the odds of connecting are excellent!
If you want to hunt record class mule deer join us on a spot & stalk archery mule deer bowhunting adventure. These challenging mule deer bow hunts are a great experience you will not forget!
Archery mule deer bow hunts take place in a mixture of agricultural crop and native grass country in the prairie and foothills of southern Alberta. Mule deer have flourished in this area because Alberta resident rifle hunters have to draw tags. Because of this management program, the habitat and mild weather, many deer are able to mature to a trophy caliber.
Archery mule deer bowhunting starts in the beginning of September and we hunt until early October. This early bowhunting season allows our archery hunters first opportunity at these undisturbed deer. Our usual bowhunting method is to wait for bucks to bed down, get the wind in our favour, and make a stalk that will get us within bow range.
Average shots are between 30 - 40 yards and bow hunters will have a great opportunity at solid Pope & Young class mule deer from 150" to 190" plus range. Bucks may still be in velvet until the middle of September. We have guaranteed tags and no draws are required!
We will strive to find you a true trophy mule deer and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please contact us to book your next mule deer hunting adventure in Alberta.
Our spot and stalk black bear hunts take place from the end of April until the middle of May. At this time of year the bear's hide are in prime condition and are rarely rubbed. On this bear hunt we hope to have the hunter hold out for a trophy 6 foot plus bear. About 30% of the bears in this area are color phased so you have an excellent chance at harvesting a blonde, cinnamon, brown or black bear.
We offer 8 day black bear hunts with two hunters per guide. We guarantee our tags and no draws are required! Hunters will be limited to one bear in our area.

Join us for trophy Alberta whitetail deer hunting. For many years Alberta has been known to produce great trophy whitetail deer. Whitetails have flourished in this area calling the thick willow and poplar patches of our foothills home.
This whitetail deer hunt will take place in November during the heat of the rut. A hunter has the best chance at finding a trophy buck during this time. The average whitetail a hunter can expect to harvest will range from 125"-150". An opportunity at a larger buck is quite possible due to the intense rutting activity when the really mature trophies appear in search of hot does.
The terrain in our hunting area is quite diverse, consisting of timbered ridges, long willow draws and rolling grassy hills. Methods of hunting will be spot and stalk, stand or use of ground blinds, and possibly some drives. A hunter can expect to do mostly hiking or possibly traveling on horseback each day to access prime hunting areas. Our whitetail hunts are done with two hunters per guide. We guarantee our tags and no draws are required!
