East Chapel Hill Bands and Orchestras

This is the site for the East Chapel Hill High School Music Department. East features two bands - the all freshman Concert Band and the upperclassmen Symphonic Band. In addition to the large concert ensembles, we have two small jazz combos. 

We have two orchestras, the String Orchestra is a 9-12 course which perfoms standard string literature. The Chamber Strings performs the toughest literature available. The Chamber strings also combine with the winds/percussion to create a Symphony Orchestra. The winds and percussion rehearse separately for honors credit.
